January 24th 2023: Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles has announced the closure of its Pico Boulevard, Los Angeles location after 32 years. The closure of the location on Pico near La Brea Boulevard had been planned for a long time as the owners wanted the focus to switch to its newer flagship location. The new flagship location for the chain is on La Brea near Washington.
The location on Pico was a popular spot for tourists to visit as well as celebrities for the now seven location chain in Southern California. The company which is known for its signature chicken and waffles started in 1972 in Long Beach and, also has a location near Disneyland in Anaheim.
